Canaan Orphanage & Canaan Christian School
Montrouis, Haiti

EARTHQUAKE UPDATE: The orphanage itself was not damaged by the recent earthquake, but Port-au-Prince has been devastated with multiple buildings collapsed and thousands of lives lost. Please keep all of Haiti in your prayers in the wake of this disaster. If you wish to donate, you can use the support link on the left side of this page. More information about the earthquake can be found at the links on the right. Our sincere thanks to those of you who have already donated to help our efforts.

Canaan Orphanage, located in Montrouis, Haiti, is home to over 100 children. Canaan is an oasis of hope and safety in the midst of poverty and despair unimaginable to most Americans. The efforts of Sister Gladys, Pastor Henri and their staff, along with the time and money donated by volunteers from around the world, provide these children with food, shelter, an education, and most importantly, love. Please consider making a contribution to help Canaan Orphanage continue to provide for the lives of these children and the community of Montrouis.

'The Greatest Asset a man has in his Life is Faith' - an essay by Erve Joseph. Erve is currently a freshman at College of the Ozarks in Branson, MO. He hopes to one day be a doctor and return to Haiti to serve his people.
